After a hearty breakfast, we briefly climb to the Fansfurggla. Then we stay long above the limit of over 2000 meters in altitude, to the Madchopf. On the way we pass small lakes like the Chamseeli and have a beautiful view of the Pizol area and the Glarnerland. We descend over 1000 meters to Weisstannen. After a short snack break, we take a flat path through the Weisstannental. Then we start with an ascent of 1400 meters. At the beginning still on wide paths, at the end it becomes narrower and steeper to the Gamidauerspitz. We descend along the ridge over the Garmil to the mountain hotel Gaffia.
