The round Klausen Pass and Pragel Pass can be done in 2 directions. Starting from Glarus going over the Pragel pass at first is the easiest, because from the other side this pass is very steep. The klausen pass from Altdorf is the longest climb, with 24km and 1500 altimeters almost equivalent to the Stelvio. From Glarus, the climb to the Klausen Pass is a bit less difficult. Either way, both rounds are worth it. The stretch along the 4waldstädtersee and the klontalersee is fantastically beautiful.
